General Information

Preveza Prefecture is on the southwest part of Epirus and is known for its natural beauties. On its west side is the Ionian Sea with beautiful beaches with tourist infrastructure. On the other side is the lagoon of Amvrakikos gulf and inwardly the lake of Ziros, and the alternations of the landscape with the fertile plains and the mountainous landscapes.

The city of Preveza, capital and harbour of the prefecture is in the entry of Amvrakikos gulf. It is a graphic city with islander characteristics as it is surrounded on its three sides by sea. On the beach you will enjoy the view and you will sit in taverns and coffeeshops, while the rest of the city has another colour with the traditional houses, the castles and the graphic paved alleys.
